who we are
Quill and Cursor was founded in 2010 by Laura Dunn, a former journalist who found that her ability to affect change and influence opinion was stronger than her desire to remain unbiased. She turned in her press pass to become a PR pro, and since then she has found her passion and livelihood in supporting the causes, small businesses and institutions she believes in.
Laura has produced award-winning work and has been published in such industry publications as ContentMarketing.org and the Rhode Island Small Business Journal. With a solid background in "getting the story" and more than ten years in the marketing communications field, she knows how to produce writing that inspires, marketing that makes an impact, social media and web development that work, and the insight and vision to pull it all together in a package tailored to fit.
She has even performed training exercises with a sea lion and pulled an all-nighter in a pumpkin patch in the line of duty - ask her about it.
As projects require, Laura teams up with some pretty amazing professional partners - some of Southern New England's best photographers, designers and web developers - whose expertise complement her vision and lend strength to her clients' success.
